How is a Personal Branding Photoshoot Planned Out?

Every photoshoot client I work with takes time to prepare. We get on our initial Discovery Call and once it is decided to move forward I'll send the questionnaire. Once the questionnaire is done we will schedule a video call where we discuss the plan for the shoot day. We iron out all the details from outfits, props, sets, locations and clients. This Production Sheet that I create of our timeline is printed out and brought on photoshoot day. This production sheet helps keep us on track and makes sure we don't forget anything.

The Client

Joanna Marshall of JM Consulting

Joanna helps guide families to define values, create goals, and cultivate a family culture. She work with clients 1:1 coaching, consulting and is in the process of making a course + workbook.

For Joanna's branding photoshoot we wanted to showcase the lifestyle part of her business. Her clients are coming to her seeking guidance on their family values and how to enact the family culture they desire. We wanted to showcase the warmth and caring she takes with all of present and future families she assists. The overall sets we planned were: working at the desk, the behind the scenes and day to day life, working in person with mom and a family in addition to adding more of her personal side of the brand.

In Action Working at a Desk w/ Headshots

Your desk setup isn’t just the space you work at, but it’s a reflection of your business’s energy and aesthetic.

During the photoshoot, we’ll capture you in action:

  • Responding to emails
  • On a client Zoom call
  • Planning strategy
  • Working on daily tasks such as taking notes, enjoying a cup of coffee/tea

Essentially you're surrounded by the tools you use daily. These photos highlight your professionalism and give your clients a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes and the day-day work that drives your business. Whether it’s a minimalist desk with or a cozy space filled with plants and personal touches, we’ll ensure your desk shots feel authentic and connected to your brand's aesthetic.

Working One-on-One

When working one-on-one with a client on a photoshoot, it’s all about showcasing your supportive and empowering role in their journey.

We’ll create scenes where you’re actively engaged like:

  • Brainstorming goals together
  • Offering guidance
  • Or just sharing many laughs together.

These images show your approachability and the genuine connections you form with your clients. This shoot set focuses on capturing both the values and professionalism of your work, so that potential clients feel like they can trust you to help them navigate their challenges.

Adding the Personal Side of Your Brand

Whether it’s a shot of you sipping coffee in a favorite mug, reading your favorite book, spending time outdoors, or showcasing a hobby that fuels your drive for life, these moments create a human connection. Clients are drawn to the person behind the business, and these personal touches show your authentic self by inviting people to connect with you on a deeper level.

  • Know

All parts of this element are customized to you, these personal pieces will be added throughout all the photo sets, not just their own set.

Joanna's Branding Photoshoot Testimonial

"Absolutely, Kristina is AMAZING, she made the process super easy and simple. Everything was discussed prior to the shoot, to get everything in order for the day, which was thorough question asking by Kristina to establish what my brand is and how I want to show up for my clients. We then organized the shoot, and that was easy and simple. The day was productive, Kristina made me feel at ease in front of the camera, and she worked with my clients and myself quickly yet thoroughly to get the images to align with my branding. She also worked closely with my graphic designer and brand manager to make sure everything was aligned. The photo shoot was fun and productive and has really given my business the image I wanted. Professional, polished, yet fun and relaxed. Highly recommend Kristina's services, if you are looking for a rebrand on your photos for your business!"
