What is event photography?
The capturing of the guests, what was happening during the time, the environment, the mood, the whole vibe and all those little moments in between. I focus on community and cooperate events which is intended for the use of business purposes. The photos could be used to do after event recaps on a newsletters, added to websites, social media posts and to advertise coming future events.
Before the event day I will request any specific shots that you need. Usually that consists of photos of the speakers, hosts, vendors, some detail photos and then the over all attendees.
Letting me know who is the point of contact for the day of, if I have any questions who can I go to. My goal is to be the fly on the wall, I'm there but you don't really see or notice me.
The Divine Pearl Collective is a business that works with providing marketing guidance to small businesses and entrepreneurs in the wellness industry. They also provide lots of community collaborations. Owners Zionna and Jenny hosted their first community networking event in March A Soul-led life Women's Empowerment Soiree in Edmonds, WA. First off I have to say the location was perfect, so much natural light with a perfect view of the ferries and ocean.

The Vendors
Not all events will have vendors, it just depends on what type. These are fun to capture what it was like for attendees to interact with the vendor booths present. Are they selling a product, offering a service or providing information? All of these types can be captured.

This is just capturing what happens during the event. The part where people come together and create connections. The expressions are very authentic and you never know what your going to capture, some moments are missed and others are caught on camera.
