The space
The photoshoot space was located at Woodin Creek Village Apartments in their community room in Woodinville, WA. The networking portion was located in the Rocky Pond Winery, I didn't attend that part, I was busy with taking photos. Liz would bring a small group of ladies up to the space for photos, then they could go back down to the winery.
The great thing about this space, is we had a variety of looks we could go for.
There was a Livingroom, a café table, kitchen and chair window looks we could do. To the best of my ability I tried to do a very quick intake to get a better idea of what would work best for their brand and match it accordingly.

Below is one of the images that each lady picked from their proofing galleries. I also attached a little bio of what each one does and linked to their website or social media page. Please do note two of the awesome shoes the ladies were wearing, a full body photo was needed, we've got to show off killer shoe selection!
How do I handle these headshot events?
I or in this case (since this one was a partnership) Liz, sent out an email to all the ladies who had purchased a ticket of how to prep for the session. I recommended wearing branding colors or neutral colors that support branding colors. I also gave a few tips of possible props to bring with. Laptop, books, and journals are a few simple items to grab and interact with.
My goal was to take photos for around 5-7 minutes of each person. I did have each lady fill out a little paper with a few questions for me to read over and quickly plan. I do show the back of the camera to each woman to make sure we've got at least 2 photos they are happy with.
After the shoot I upload photos with basic edits into individual galleries. I'll send each woman an email with their gallery link and instructions on how to select at least their 2 photos with options to purchase more should they love and want to use more.
Once the images are selected, I finish the edits to the selected images as they came in and then send the final images.
