THE ATTENDING LADIES
Below is one of the images that each lady picked from their proofing galleries. I also attached a little bio of what each one does and linked to their website or social media page.
How do I handle these headshot events?
I or in this case (since this one was a partnership) Liz, sent out an email to all the ladies who had purchased a ticket of how to prep for the session. I recommended wearing branding colors or neutral colors that support branding colors. I also gave a few tips of possible props to bring with. Laptop, books, and journals are a few simple items to grab and interact with.
My goal was to take photos for around 5-7 minutes of each person. I did have each lady fill out a little paper with a few questions for me to read over and quickly plan. I do show the back of the camera to each woman to make sure we've got at least 2 photos they are happy with.
After the shoot I upload photos with basic edits into individual galleries. I'll send each woman an email with their gallery link and instructions on how to select at least their 2 photos with options to purchase more should they love and want to use more.
Once the images are selected, I finish the edits to the selected images as they came in and then send the final images.
Liz and I are co-hosting these lifestyle headshots once each quarter. We so far have been looking at new locations each time, we want to vary up the look a little each time. This space was a little more boho, I did take down some of the pieces and tried to keep it more neutral.
